Why 2026 Is the Year of AI Installation (And How I'm Going All In)

For the past few years, everyone’s been learning about AI. Watching demos. Reading articles. Saying “I really need to figure this out.”

2026 is different.

This is the year we stop learning and start installing.

Not experimenting. Not dabbling. Actually embedding AI into the way we run our businesses and live our lives.

I’m going all in. Here’s why — and how.

The Shift from Learning to Implementation

There’s a pattern I’ve seen in every major technology shift: early adopters experiment, then there’s a long period of “this is interesting but I’m not sure how to use it,” and then suddenly — almost overnight — it becomes infrastructure.

Email was a novelty until it wasn’t. Mobile was optional until it wasn’t. Cloud computing was “risky” until everyone’s business ran on it.

AI is at that inflection point right now.

The difference between the businesses that thrive in the next five years and those that struggle won’t be who understood AI first. It’ll be who installed it first.

What “Installation” Actually Means

When I say installation, I don’t mean buying a ChatGPT subscription and asking it to write emails.

I mean:

Voice AI agents that handle customer calls, qualify leads, and book appointments — without a human touching it.

AI clones and avatars that can represent you in videos, presentations, and content at scale. (Yes, I’m building mine using HeyGen and Eleven Labs.)

Automation workflows that connect your tools and eliminate the repetitive tasks that drain your team’s energy.

“Vibe coding” — using AI to build actual applications and tools without writing traditional code. I’ve watched founders create functional products in days that would have taken months and tens of thousands of dollars in developer costs.

This isn’t theoretical. I’m using all of this in my own businesses right now.

Why This Matches My Operating System

I’ll be honest: I was built for this moment.

My entire approach to life and business comes down to a few core beliefs:

• Reality moves faster than comfort.
• Systems eventually fail; people who adapt don’t.
• Speed with correction beats hesitation with alignment.
• Tools exist to reduce friction, not prove intelligence.

I don’t wait for perfect information. I move with what’s sufficient and adjust quickly.

AI fits that operating system perfectly. It’s not about replacing human judgment — it’s about amplifying it. Preserving your energy for the decisions that actually matter while letting systems handle the execution.

The Resistance I See (And Why It’s Misguided)

Most business owners I talk to fall into one of three camps:

1. AI-powered content systems Using tools like Claude to help with writing, research, and content strategy. Not to replace my voice, but to remove friction from getting ideas out of my head and into the world.

2. Voice AI for business Exploring conversational AI agents that can handle initial customer interactions, answer FAQs, and route inquiries — especially for my compliance and wellness businesses.

3. AI clone creation Building video and audio versions of myself that can deliver content at scale. The technology has reached a point where this is genuinely useful, not just a gimmick.

4. Vibe coding experiments Using AI to prototype tools and applications without traditional development. The barrier to building custom software has collapsed — and I’m taking advantage of it.

5. Automation everywhere Connecting tools with AI-powered workflows that eliminate manual handoffs. The goal: preserve human energy for judgment, not execution.

The Mindset Shift Required

If you’re going to embrace AI, you need to let go of a few things:

Let go of needing to understand everything before you start. You’ll learn by doing. Waiting until you “get it” means waiting forever.

Let go of perfectionism. AI outputs aren’t perfect. Neither are human outputs. Move fast and correct.

Let go of the idea that using tools is cheating. Delegation — human or machine — is strength. The most effective people have always used leverage.

Embrace the discomfort of feeling behind. Everyone feels behind with AI. That’s not a sign you’re late — it’s a sign the space is moving fast. Which means there’s still massive upside for early movers.
